With stock plan purchases, the purchaser is granted a one-time license to build the home. The copyright laws prevent anyone from reproducing or reusing the plans without written permission from the copyright owner. Persons responsible for copyright infringement may include anyone who participates in the violation whether you were aware of the plan copyright or not.
